Not a big fan of the cupholders in my 97, however, driving from Hampton VA to Cape Cod MA in the summer with the AC on it kept my drink nice and cold!

I hate my OME 890 "Light Duty" setup out rear. Understandably to gain lift from a relatively same size spring as a stocker, one has to be stiffer. Also, knowing that it's bone chilling cold outside as well, the shocks aren't probably moving quickly as if it were summer time. Therefore, probably adds to the stiffness of the ride too which is getting to be unbearable...haha. Can't wait to ditch these and get the 8 wrap LC coils!

I hate my factory alarm. It seems to have a mind of its own sometimes and I can't start my truck. I have to go through the reset steps even if I use the key remote as normal. Completely random.

Slow I don't mind, but the 3/4 yes. Even my 01 GTI had an auto close sunroof with Pinch Protection. And you can close all the windows and sunroof with key in door lock!
That's not the only reason they called them that, but thats a different story. The A4LD came out in 84-85 which was made in France and and added a fourth gear (OD) to the already S***TY C3 tranny that the pinto had.

Yes it does suck.
That too is probably my biggest gripe. VSC and TRAC.
I can live with Trac to an extent but VSC just sucks.
Probably will do the "mods" to turn them off.

my original clock with 142k didn't work, yet I swapped to an older clock from a 97 with 240k on it and that still works... funky.
I don't like the drums in the back, those suck!

I dont really have any complaints about my 4R, it gets better gas mileage than my previous suv and has plenty of power. The only thing id complain about is the having to Add an external tranny cooler, ive added one but its always in the back of my mind when pulling a trailer.

Wipers on 3G4Rs are the worst. I've replaced them quite a few times, but they rarely work right. They mostly just smear the water than wipe it off the windshield. And it's 10x worse if there's bugs and bird crap on the windshield.
Another big gripe I have is how far foward the radio/ac/heat console is.
If you notice the console is pushed in. I don't keep my seat back too far, but compared to other vehicles, I have to lean foward pretty far just to change the radio station, or change the temperture settings. I'd kill for radio volume to be on the steering wheel.

Really? I bought reflex wipers for the winter and they are horrible, driver's side lifts up a quarter of the way from the top. Either way seems like the wipers suck no matter what.
I'm thankful I have no rattles, squeeks or vibrations.
MPG could be better, but I knew that before buying it so can't complain.
Biggest complaint is how EVERYTHING rusts. Body panels, doors, every single nut, bolt or screw in the thing... I've snapped off more things than on all the other cars I've had combined.
Thing runs like a champ though, still love driving it.

Yeah, it is amazing how much salt they use here. It is a wonder how anything can even grow out here, since the salt just washes right off the road and into the soil.
My car is completely covered in salt, it is everywhere. It looks worse than the parts I pull out of our salt chamber at work.

It's getting ridiculous actually. I've taken countless very large pieces of salt and stone from the highway salter when I pass it 3 lanes over.
I've found a coin bay to spray down the truck for a couple bucks, that I take it to quite regularly to try and keep the salt at bay. By the end of the day though the whole thing is caked white again. Nobody can drive here so they salt/stone the roads like crazy.

Seriously ever wonder why North America has no diesel engines..? They rock!!! I had a vw golf tdi 90 hp.. $500 in mods later I had over 240 foot pounds of torque and still kept 45 mpg... I modded it at 300k and sold it at 500 with not a single engine issue.
Rant over ... rage subsiding....lol

A lot of truth to this rant. My dad had a '83 Mercedes 300 coup. Kept it until 2002 with 650K on it. Everything broke down it except the diesel engine. Never had an issue. My dad bought a '92 Landcruiser and ended up selling it because the Mercedes could pull stuff better.
