This is a safety feature. you are supposed to look at this screen before you back out of a parking space to make sure that your tires are properly aligned and you will back out in a straight line.

definitely. if you're sawing at the wheel a bunch on a rocky, technical trail, and at the same time talking with your passenger/spotter/whoever, you would be surprised how easy it is to forget which way your wheels are pointed.

then again, i have always just hung my head out of the window, so...:spy:

Ok guys, more of a question than a finding.

My 09 TE had an ignition that all you had to do was briefly turn it to start, and the car would continue to turn the starter until the engine started.

I pick up my TRD Pro this week. Does it have the same function with the ignition?

I miss that feature but unfortunately that function is not available.

I'm glad I found this! Now I can stop yelling at my kids everytime they impatiently yank on the locked door handles. Very easy fix. Now when I touch the driver door's sensor, all doors unlock at once. T4R.org succesfully improving father/son relationships.

If you have the smart key, you can simply grab the driver's side door handle to unlock just that door. If you want to unlock all the doors, simply:



1. Turn the “ENGINE START STOP” switch OFF.

2. When the indicator on the key surface is turned off, press and hold the unlock button and then hold the lock button on the "key" for approximately 5 seconds.



You'll hear the exterior beep twice and the interior ping once. Go outside, lock your door and then test it out. WALA! All doors will unlock. Not that it isn't already but it's so much more convenient.

Just bought a 2016 LE, and I've been trying to figure this out for days. Will give it a shot tomorrow.

For some reason my truck switched back to unlocking only the driver door. Been meaning to take it back to the stealership but saw this thanks to [MENTION=143319]Ghanchat[/MENTION] but could not get it to work on my 2014 LE. Anyone have success with this procedure?

2016 Limited, and the "hold all three fob buttons" while siting in the drivers seat with the truck off selected 4-door unlock for me. It show the vehicle and four open doors on the DIC.

Bottom left switch in photo. One push turns off traction control, hold for a few seconds and it turns off VSC also. Lets you go old school with open diffs and no traction control. Works in 2H and 4H.
