Shouldn't the bag fill the spring???
It's correct, the springs will collapse quite a bit.
Are the springs blue?
I thought so. I have double checked model numbers on the air bags these are meant for the 4runner/fj springs. Unless they boxed up the wrong ones.
the bags model numbers are 4135 and the moog springs are 81081.
Only thing I can think of is that these bags are supposed to widen when they inflate. but that doesn't seem right.
I checked the springs and they are the same diameter of my 4runner springs and an image check online shows these to be the ones. They have to widen when filled. no other explaination.

Ok so I called the noce people over at Leaf Springs, Helper Springs and Suspension Parts | SD Truck Springs. and the lady who helped me said that tthe bag was correct and it should expand once in flated. So I guess we shall see..
Boy your are right those springs loom blue in the pic. But rest assured they are black. Bad cell phone pic.

I'm curious to see how this goes with the Moog springs -- I can't find any other writeups where someone used the FJ Moog springs on a 4Runner. Please keep us posted on the installation.

Yes those are the springs I bought. I will be careful to take before and after measurements since these are virgin springs.

I do remember someone on here saying the moog fj springs gave like 2 inches of lift in the rear I'll try to find a source though
Ooffa! I wasn't expecting 2 inches in the rear (that's what she said!)
Guess I will do my rears first and adjust the bilsteins in front to match. Might end up with a bigger lift than I bargained for. Good thing my buddy (who has been through this a couple of times) has convinced me to drive it a week or two before getting tires. Might need to get a bigger set.

I guess I'll chime in - I'm the guy who first tried em out. They ride extremely well, and I have no regrets. The fronts are a bit soft for my taste, but the rears, paired with the DS spacers, netted me around 3". It took a while to settle, so don't freak when you may be driving with a TALL rear end for a bit. They do well off road and when towing. I don't have the airbags so I can't say anything about those, but the springs are great. And for like $40 NEW, it's amazing more people don't use these!

I skimmed back through some of your old posts, but didn't see if you posted your exact suspension setup. What do you have on your 4R? From the old posts, looks like you have the Moog springs F + R, on Bilstein 5100s F + R (with F shock at the 2.5" setting). What's the "DS spacer" you mention above?

Probably a Daystar spacer kit.

Looking at his sig it looks like he has a 1.5" rear day star spacer on top of the moogs

Yeah you are right I have MOOG FJ front and rear with Bilstein 5100 front and rear, front @ 2.5. I have the Daystar 1.5 spacers on the rear, I'm thinking about removing the right one to fight rear sag.
I recently installed airlift airbags on superflex coils and the airbags were VERY snug to go in. They recommend running the airbags at 5psi so my guess is, no, that does not look right. At 5psi it would seem like those would wobble all around.
Try calling firestone with the measurements of your coils. They will probably help you put. I know airlift was great help, they told me to get the tallest possible coil to have the most weight support and flex.
It looks like they would be easily popped if installed like that. Just my 2 cts.
