Thoughts about Raptor lights

I saw a newer 5th gen the other day with the amber raptor lights in the grill and thought it looked good. I have the grill with the roundish logo at the top section but from what I understand you can still install the lights in that type. My plan was to get the amber raptor lights and the amber film for the fog lights. Any thoughts from someone that has done this?

if you like it do it. it's your rig - make it how you like. raptor are lights are one of those appearance mods, they don't add any functionality. the amber fog lights are supposed to be better at penetrating fog, so I can see that being useful. I don't have either of those two mods
 
I bought mine from cartrimhome.com

Easy install and makes my truck a little more visible on jobsites.
 
I personally think they are absolutely idiotic unless you own a Raptor and I will probably get burned for this, but that's me.

yeah i fully agree. i think theyre dumb. also, turn off your baja designs bro, its noon and they glare like a mofo. everyone can see youre a giant dbag by all the overland sh1t you keep bolted to the roof rack year round.

I agree, sometimes I feel it's a race to make your 4runner look like a UFO. I think it's the 2021 equivalent of under glow lighting, tinted heatlights/taillights, angel eyes etc.
 
next item of topic is the broncos trail markers, who will be the first to install them on the 4runner?

How much non-Toyota aftermarket stuff do you have on your rig? Its the hypocrisy of people creating judgement for the sake of arguing. And for the record, I don't have them.

Not much actually, I like it clean, simple and functional.

And BTW the title of the thread is; Thought about Raptor Lights. I gave my thoughts, no need to get all butt hurt over someone's opinion.
 
I like them, but I like the subtle ones, not the big long ones. I have small round LED's because I think it adds something to the front end, but I think the strips of amber are too much

Not butt hurt, but facts seem to elude you. You have an opinion that... is opposite of what you preach. #kids
 
i think ya'll are all secret rice lovers......ya'll just haven''t come out of the rice closet yet....

first you start with those little microwave packets of lights..er..rice... then you move up to trying to making rice in a pot.... before you know it, you will have your very own rice cooker that plays a tune when the rice is done.........

shhhhh.......don't fight it, just let it happen....
