Thoughts on purchasing a 1999 sport manual

I know it's a pretty decent price. He has a buyer comin to get it saturday if I don't get it. It's due for a timing belt and water pump. Rear bumper also needs to be replaced. Bumper not so much of a big deal, but TB and WP I'd rather not mess with. It was last done at 136k.

The TB really isn't such a big deal, and if it was done at 136k you still have plenty of time before you really need to worry about it. They're known to go way past the recommended change interval. I changed mine at 200k and I'm pretty sure the last time it was done was at 80k.

If I were looking for one right now I'd jump on that one myself. Three vehicles is enough for me at one time though. :bounce:

That's the real issue. This would he a 3rd vehicle for us. Really just something for me to tinker with.

Wellif your looking for soemthig to tinker with then the tb and wp should be a non issue. Wont get alot of miles and younget to tinker with it when you do change it... at least thats my thinking

If it runs, shfts, and rides as good as it looks, I suppose I'll pick it up. I certainly don't need it, but I think I'll kick myself down the road if I don't get it.
