Thoughts: What Wheels?

Looking to swap out wheels on my TRDP, just tired of every single 4R I see having the same setup, Faux or Pro.

Opinions on aftermarket wheels?

I am in the same boat. Was going to go with 17 TRD SEMA wheels in Grey but have been looking at SCS and FN wheels. I think I have decided to go with FN Konig Six Shooters in Graphite. Just need to save the $$$. I will most likely mate them with Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S's in 255/75/17.

SCS has some nice stuff but their wheel are almost always out of stock.

Good luck OP and let us know what you are contemplating.

I love the looks of several different SCS wheels, and might go that or a similar route at some point.

Right now I'm currently looking for an extra set of new TRDO/Trail takeoffs with or without oem rubber as a cheap alternative. They look fine to me, and it's a strong functional wheel. That way I can easily switch between city tires for most of my driving, and offroaders for trips, etc. I would rather spend money on sliders, skids and maybe a roof rack than on wheels.

I feel the same way with my Pro wheels. If SCS would kill the beadlocks, I would be all over either of the two options that currently have them. The konig is nice but just doesn't sit right with me on a 4runner. It reminds me of a civic, or an Accord wheel. I don't understand the lack of non beadlock options. These companies could make a fortune with a non beadlock lineup.

Could be because beadlocks are not DOT approved. Just a wild guess.

I went with Black Rhino bronze wheels with -10 offset for my 285/70/17 Duratracs. I love em

Paid $1075 shipped from BB wheels online then paid a local tire shop $100 to mount and balance them

regarding the wheel choices with faux beadlocks:
SCS will work with OMF Performance to convert to real beadlocks. pricey but they look beautiful.

LOL spikes on lug nuts. Just as bad as fake bead locks.

Yea I know there are haters but I think they look badass. Thats why we have so many choices because there are so many different tastes.

I get a lot of haters on my interior mods too and a lot of people that love it and try to copy it
