Till last month I got this super clean 1999 Surf. Saw the under carriage and my jaw dropped. Came with a lift, 285's and the right color combo I wanted. 50,000 miles I'll provide more details soon! Heres some pics.

Those are after market covers. Fairly common on JDM's. Seen many on surfs in the past. By far, these are one of the nicest I have seen and look like they belong. Seats underneath are new, same color as the carpets. I'll try to get the model/mfg on them. I will be sending them to a leather guy here to get part of it redone, the driver side (my driver side )

I noticed the same thing as well, not quite sure. Its solid on there. I know the wood grain matches the console. Let me take a look and see later.

Odd how the PRND2L indicator on the dash is a L2NDRP indicator on your RHD model. I've never noticed that before.

The hardest thing learning the RHD was trying not to use the wipers as signals. haha.

What I didn't know till I got the surf that the mirror served as a dual purpose. I knew of the main purpose, blind spot, but what I didn't know, there is another mirror on the side which shows whats in front of your bumper. Same concept as a backup camera.

Not sure in cloth, but most covers I seen are fake leather. One way would be to get a seamstress to copy the plan and make cloth covers.

100%! Read a few posts on that and figuring out what is the best approach. Unsure. As well No cruise control with this surf. I would love to install an OEM cruise for this, but don't know what components I need to strip from a wrecker or order...??:shrug:
