not on our trucks neal. worthless. ours are actually tuned pretty good. others have tried it and no gains.

Long answer - this is a SUV not a high revving sports car. If the engine designers had calculated an overall benefit from a larger intake manifold plenum they would've designed it that way. The 3.4l V6 and 2.7 I4 are a thing of beauty in these rigs. Don't eff with em (except with forced induction)

Funny how a TB spacer creates a vortex of your air going through the manifold... kinda like its being forced

I had one on my first 3rd gen with a homemade intake. It did give more throttle response with the intake and spacer and regardless of what everyone else says its your truck to put whatever parts on you want.. People talk shit about intakes on 3rd gens. People complain when you put Proforged ball joints on even though the are excellent quality replacements. People scoff at the fact I have 861 rear coils.. Who cares is what I say. The throttle body spacer is not needed on our trucks but it did not hurt the MPG or performance and if anything it helped it breathe better just like a deckplate mod, not noticeable gains unless you have free flowing exhaust and intake.. Proceed to hate.

Your money will be more wisely spent on other things IMHO. I found one at a garage sale for $10, NIB, and sold it for $100.

As far as the forum goes, I personally don't see constant bashing going on. There is another forum where such used to occur, where the active participation is now minimal to non existent on a daily basis.

I don't see any bashing. The OP asked a question, and the response was 'no' (which is correct). It's not usually about middle-school opinions. There are facts to back up the 'opinion' that TB spacers are a waste of money.
