Time to say goodbye

I had to do it.
I traded in my 96 4runner for a 01 Sequoia, I needed something bigger to tow my new camper.
I will still be on here as my GF has an 04 4runner sport.
Thank you for all the help I got from this site.

At least ya still got a Runner in the family. I too am in the same boat and will be needing something bigger soon. I am leaning towards an 80 or 100 series Land Cruiser though. Sequoia is also on the short list. Yours looks nice man. Very clean!

All I've owned for years is Toyota trucks. This one makes 14 or 15 of them.
I love this thing. I am actually getting better MPG with the V8 Sequoia then I was with my 3.4 4runner. I am getting anywhere from 18 to 21+ and in the 4runner I was lucky to get 17.
It is in REAL nice condition and only has 91k on it.

haha ^^ but then you have to fill the gas tank lol that thing is huge! my brother in law has one and i had to fill it up once and i think it almost brought on 3 digits!!

congrats on the new ride though!

Just because you got rid of the Runner for a Sequoia doesn't mean you can't stay. :D

Have fun with it. It's still a Toyota after all. ;):

BTW, what does it cost to fill up a Sequoia? My wife's been bugging me to sell her '00 4Runner and buy her either an '05 Sequoia or '06 4Runner...we could def use the addt'l room of the Seq, I'm just not ready for a vehicle of that size. Trying to get her in a 4th gen runner instead.

Depends on how low you run it. 26 Gal. tank. At $3.25 a gal. would be $84.50 Fill it at half a tank and it would be about half the that.
You use the gas anyways in the 4runner . The Sequoia has a bigger tank so it cost more to fill it. If your getting the same or better mpg then you'll fill the Sequoia less.

And I will still be stopping in the 4th gen forum as my Gf has an 04 sport

Oh no worries, I know the gas will be used whether it's in a 4Runner or Sequoia...I was just curious is all. Heck, I wish my 4Runner had a 26 gal tank...it'd be great for long trips.

Well Gonzo, I ended up buying my wife an '04 Sequoia 2wd SR5 last weekend. Same color as yours, just mine does not have the fender flares and has BBS alloy wheels instead. Flew up to NC last Sat and was back home by 8:30pm.

It has 75K miles on it and I only paid $11K for it. Super clean in and out. Wife loves it...and it is growing on me as well. :D
