Timing belt and?

I'm planning on undergoing the dreaded timing belt replacement. Belts coming up on 110k & is due for a change soon, rather waiting I'd rather get it done sooner. But I know this is quite an extensive job & probably offers a lot of chances to do other engine work that would require the same removal of certain parts, could anyone reccomeend anything along the way that I could also do while I'm under the hood changing out my timing belt. Anything & everything is appreciated! The old guy just needs some good lovin.

Front crank seal, water pump, T stat, T belt,idler and tensioner. Just buy the ASIN kit.

What about anything else that wouldn't normally get done while someone was doing this job, but would be possible?

This would be a great time to install a stand alone trans cooler, assuming you haven't already done that. You are already draining the coolant, so save yourself a future headache and spend a bit more money for long term piece of mind.

What Brian said plus cam seals. If money and time permits, new radiator hoses and as a precautionary measure you may consider a new radiator and installing a tranny cooler. It's a known weak spot.

If it was me (which I just did) I'd go ahead and do the

Take the slack out of the throttle cable
spark plugs, and wires
clean the MAF and throttle body
replace the 'stock original radiator' unless you already did
'toyota' red coolant from stealership... make sure to really flush with distilled water
PCV valve and grommet
fuel filter
air filter
then add seafoam to 1/4 tank then drive till almost empty, and add injector cleaner to another 1/4 tank
trans cooler
timing belt
water pump
toyota dealership t-stat


the truck runs way better
