timing belt assembly needed for 91 v6 4runner

im in need of a full timing assembly for my 91 4runner v6. if you have any info on one for sale or where i could get one, please tell me

Most auto parts stores can order them or have them in stock. The belts are usually sold separately from the pulleys. Otherwise, check out Ebay as well.

One of the members on here was gonna sell me their kit they had bought by mistake. When I get off my phone I will look for the post but you can find it by searching "3.0 timing belt".

Also I used LC Engneering and was very pleased.

EDIT: See below. It was just the water pump. I think he has the water pump that doesn't have the outlet for the oil cooler. If you don't have the oil cooler you could by his water pump and timing kit from whatever dealer you decide. Also, see here, the kit I bought had the belt, #1 idler, and the #2 idler already pressed onto a new water pipe.

helo have you bought the parts yet? I ordered a timing component kit and a water pump from rockauto. also got plugs and wires and bottom end bearings all for about $210

actually do you NOT have an oil cooler? i ordered the wrong water pump and I still have it unopened... and i want to get rid of it.

oil pump... don't worry about it i didn't replace mine either. and you have a spring tensioner so no worries .

theres two dots on the crank, get the right one. and its way easier without the radiator but not necessary. I got mine together and ended up 180* out. had it running in about an hour.

No affiliation, I usually put my own "kit" together from autohausaz.com or the like. Going this route, I buy all Japan made parts (koyo bearings, mitsu belts, nsk, etc..). You might consider doing the waterpump and t-stat while in there since you've already done 1/2 the work. Best of luck with it.
