timing belt ebay kit???

I used this kit. Everything was perfect, just have to make sure you get the NSK idler pulley.

Id recommend the one fenrisx posted. I just put this kit on my 96 a week or so ago and it was great, very convenient and its cheaper then buying from toyota even with my employee pricing.

Yeah, just replace everything the kit comes with while your in there. No sense in tearing it all apart again cause your idler bearing fails or some other small part you could have already replaced.

That link is for a tacoma. Are the tacoma and 4runner kits interchangable?

This is my favorite: 5vz-fe timing belt

One thing that nobody explains, if you are changing the hydraulic tensioner, then the BluePoint tool is useless as you have to take the A/C compressor off to get the tensioner out. The new one is already compressed so there is nothing for that tool to do. It only works if you reuse the old tensioner.

I changed everything but the seals. They weren't leaking so I left them alone. They had been replaced the previous time.

If one has already replaced their drive belts, radiator hoses, and thermostat, I would go this route unless one believes they have a seal leaking:

Yeah, the engine is the same as long as you have the 3.4

Spoke with Volkstoy, and they can provide Koyo but not the NSK. I will be making my order Monday, looks like a good kit with a fair price.

Supposedly the NSK is the same size as the OEM, which I believe is NSK and not Koyo. But when using the Koyo idler, as long as the tensioner is working correctly, I don't see it being a real problem using the Koyo idler.
