Timing belt job bolt identification

Hey tackling the tbelt on my 3rd Gen 4runner 5vzfe 3.4. Going to assemble things got the lower timing back on then go to do the top cover and I noticed one of the bolts was different.

Anyone know if all the timing cover bolts are all supposed to be the same size. Any ideas where this odd one would go? (Should have labelled my bolts better)

FYI, it has a shorter shoulder and doesn't have the tapered tapping threads.

Have done timing belts a few times but didn't notice it. if one of the long bolts doesn't fit well then use the shorter one there.

The shorter bolt is the odd man out. I see six of the same bolt part number for the upper timing belt cover, 9010906247.
If there was a different bolt in there the toyota parts diagram would've listed it.

My guess is some mechanic misplaced/lost one of the bolts and had this one as a spare and used it from another Toyota when they replaced the belt before.

Typically all of the bolts on the timing cover are the same for a 5vz. IF you have a shorter one and you didn't notice where it was while taking it apart do like the pros do and put the short one in first. If it was short for a reason from the factory it shouldn't reach in the other holes. If it reaches in all the holes, it's probably an oddball from a previous person that lost one.

Yep, that's a replacement bolt someone ordered or brought to a parts store to match. It'll work just fine though since all 6 holes are made for the longer bolt.
