timing Belt kit

Looks like this is the complete real deal, is there anything else needed to do the timing belt/ water pump replacement. I'd hate to get it apart, and then have to scramble for parts, hate when that happens!!

Yeah, many of us have used that seller and that kit is great. The only other thing you NEED is coolant, of course. You might consider doing your rad hoses, too--although Toyota hoses age very well.

I did. The belts are NOT OEM, they are BANDO which makes fantastic belts, but the water pump and tensioner are Toyota. I've used their kits for the 4Runner and the Civic with no issues at all.

I ordered that kit as well and it is awesome.

Canadian dollar is above par right now so I say go for it. Everything was OE and fit awesome.

I've used parts from FCP Groton when I owned a Volvo 97' 850 R and they seem pretty good.

I've used parts from FCP Groton when I owned a Volvo 97' 850 R and they seem pretty good.

This timing belt kit seems to be priced really well.

I have used FCP a lot (mainly Euro for BMW's but Import for a Hyundai). They are very good, but they sell a range from cheaper aftermarket to OE. This is closer to the former. Toyota does not use GMB and I have never heard of that TB maker. Personally, I would not use that kit in this mission-critical application just to save a few bucks. I deliberately ran the OE stuff to 120k before I changed it out for all OE replacements, and I plan on doing the same thing again in about 2019 at 240k

BTW, all the stuff I took out looked like it was good for at least another 50k excepting only the accessory belts. It's all in my emergency spares box.

was your pump toyota? because these kits have gmb pumps which are cheaper than aisin pumps. i have used gmb's in other apps but would use aisin in my 4r.
