i didn't do mine until 130k and that's only because the water pump had gone out and one of the tensioner pulleys was making a noise. the belt was still in good shape. i've heard of some going even longer before replacing their's. i would just get the belt inspected and see how its wearing.

150k. Seriously, if your water pump isn't leaking, change it at 150k, and again at 300k.
(EDIT: this is my opinion...if it wasn't obvious. Dealer say 90k...like everyone has said)

You won't damage the motor if it breaks, so if the water pump is still good, just run it. I've got nearly 100k on my 2nd belt and I'll be replacing it in a month or so just so I can replace the water pump and pulleys. 60k is way too early for routine maintenance. For what the dealer charges, you can understand why they shortened the time frame. $$$$$$$$$$$:hungry:

Mine was done by the previous owner at 123,000 by the stealership and the stealership told him not to bother changing the water pump because it wasn't leaking.
To me that is ignorant.
Do them all at the same time and do them around 90-100K.
I just did mine about 6 weeks ago ALL BELTS and Water pump, thermostat etc everything but the cam seals. Was done at 161,000, so only had 38K on the timing belt but had 161K on the water pump.
The kit on Ebay cost around $300 for every part you need and all OEM parts.
To me that is ignorant.

+1. Aircabinman's kit on eBay is a great kit at a great price.
Just curious, a lot of people have said they didn't replace the cam seals. Why not? Is it a lot more work to replace them?

From what I understand that is the one part that if it ain't broke don't fix it type thing. You can pull out a cam seal with 200K on it that isn't leaking and never have a problem with it for another 200K but if you replace it could easily have it leak on you.
