Timing belt walkthrough on "TRUCKS"!

Hey guys,

It's not a 4Runner, but the guys on "Trucks" are working on a Taco with the 3.4L in it, and recently did the Timing Belt / Water Pump replacement on the show!

They also go on to thrash the truck about Off-road...proving that Toyota's are very capable Off-road....right from the Factory! :trophy:

absolutely, right out of the box they rule the road, on and off, and its about time these shows designed for the "average builder" actually shows something that the average person has. Toyota is the greatest, be it a truck or a suv, they did it right the first time out, and they keep doing it. Curious to see what they do next with it, man i just hope they dont ruin it, seeing as how they already screwed up naming some of the components, but hey i let it go, lol they are domestic guys

I believe they are definately going SAS, a good size lift, probably some bigger rubber, maybe some new wheels......

They also put E3 sparkplugs in it.

I know, I know. These engines run best with the NGK dual electrode plugs.
I really want to try some E3 plugs. Has anyone tried them in a 3.4L?

they failed to mention what to tq the crank bolt too use the 4x4wire one
