Timing chain on 2.7L need replaced?

I have heard both "yes" and "no" on this subject. Does the timing chain on the 4cyl 2.7L ('99) need replacing? I have about 127k miles. Thanks!

Need replacing ever? Sure, someday. At 127k, more than likely no. If the guides, which are metal on the 3rz, wear out, the chain can start digging into engine components, pretty common on the 22re w/ plastic chain guides. Is your chain making a lot of noise? I have friends with well over 200k on the stock chain.
