Sorry to come to this debate so late, but what I'm looking fort is to replace some BFG Long Trail T/A's with an A/T tire. Some buddies and I are getting more into off-roading, but I need something that still delivers on the road (I'll be forthright - minimum 80-90% of my driving will be on the road, probably more, because I love this truck).

Opinions? Totally pleased with BFG products, but is there a less-flash and less-expensive equivalent?

Go with the steel rims you have and paint them black. Burn up whats on there now and take it out a bit and get used to driving off road before you sink money into new gears and larger tires. Personally the lift on there now is a little excessive unless you are going to build up a weekend rockcrawler.
