Tire Pressure

I'm really not sure what my tire pressure is supposed to be. The manual says 32 and the max PSI is 44. Can anyone tell me?

32 is a good number. I always keep my tires at this number.

44 is the MAX number the tire can handle before it goes KABOOM.

I keep mine at 35 psi, keep the spare at that pressure also and you won't have the tire pressure light go off when it gets below 0 this winter in NJ.

I checked all 4 tires and they are at 41. I guess when I bought the tires they set it high. Should I decrease the pressure?

Interesting ... when I got my Revos they were set at 41 psi, too. I lowered them to 36 psi to try them. Seem to ride fine in today's rain.

It seems to be one of those things you need to adjust to personal preference. I think 32 psi is too low but others may disagree. I've run higher than 36psi in other vehicles and it makes some ride a little too harsh, some are OK.

It just seems rather odd that two Firestone shops in different states would air to 41 psi on a tire that has a max of 44 psi. Makes me wonder if there is some magic to that number. The Bridgestone site doesn't seem to have any air pressure information on it.

I usually run 33-34 psi, not sure whats best
