I want to put BF Goodrich TA-KO's on my black 2000 4Runner SR5. The picture has my 93 SR5. I am just not sure if the the larger version, the 285-75-16 versus the 265-70-16 will they rub or alter my speedometer?

Any suggestions or experience would help.

Thanks

You can play with tires sizes with this tool and see how the sizing differs:

This stuff has been covered, and covered again though. Take the time to search, you'll be much further ahead for it.

I'll make it easy for you. 285's have to have a lift with them and they will most likely rub even with a lift. It will also alter you speedometer. 265/70 are the stock tires so no rubbing and accurate speedometer. 265/75 are right between the 285's and 265/70's and may have some slight rubbing but not much. It will alter your speedometer a little bit.
