Tire wear

Should I expect faster tire wear on my rears or on my fronts.
I bought used km2s from a friend and they said to put the good ones on the front because the more worn ones came off their front.
The rears seem to be wearing more and the fronts seem to be staying good.

Usually the fronts because of turning. Do you accelerate aggressively a lot?

Maybe you're getting fooled by measurement location. Fronts should tend to wear the shoulders. Rears, the middle, especially if you're running in 2wd (because drive wheels).

In any event, it shouldn't be anything rotation won't take care of.

They were at about 90% on the front and 65% on the back. Just seems the fronts aren't wearing which is good

Tire shops I have been to in Oregon all put the best tires in front. That is, if you just buy two new ones they will put them in front. The buyer has no choice! It is for optimum steering control.

On a rwd vehicle the wear will be fairly even as long as your wheels are properly aligned. On a fwd vehicle, the fronts will wear more because they are doing all the work. The best tires regardless of being fwd or rwd should always be on the rear.
