i know what you mean. i'm keeping my t4r as my daily but i want a car that i can mess around with...and i love vw's. i went to waterfest this year as it was hard not to put a for sale sign on my runner...but i still love it

btw. i like that 4runner you are looking at. same color as mine. 5spd?
I wish it was a 5 speed... from my searches for 4runners it seems very hard to find them...
But I can settle for a automatic this time... makes more sense in a sportier car like a VW... although it would be sweet for mudding... but oh well!
Yeah I plan on getting a beater/project car after I have the 4R for a while... maybe a mk2 or something...
Ive been to waterfest at least 4 times... didnt go this year because I didn't think my car would actually make it there and back... if you ever get the chance head down to Ocean City Maryland for H20 later this year... that is a blast!!

me too i'm a huge vw fan but can't stand working on every vehicle i own, don't get me wrong i love working on cars but there's a difference in doing it for pleasure and having todo it to get to work....

Ah yes! We talked about your bus in your thread a few weeks ago... I talked about how I would love to get a split window, possibly even a 20 something window...

It takes a special person to love a VW... but when they love it they really love it... but have a extream hate for it at the same time because it tends to break a lot!
I know so many MK4 owners that scream F*CK MK4s!!!! But then post up pictures of their cars whenever they can on VWVortex and dump thousands of dollars into their cars...
I just hope soon I can dump a few less thousand into my 4Runner
