Tires: Cooper at3's vs Firestone Destination AT's?

I work at a master craft/cooper supplier that is a full service shop. We were told that the at3's will be changed to a slightly less aggressive tread pattern by our rep. They will still be called at3's but they won't be the same as the ones you can get currently. Mastercaft has also changed most of their aggressive tire lines to different tread patterns but they have opted to also change the names as well. The m/t is now mxt, the a/t is now axt, the c/t will be changed as well and possibly discontinued altogether according to the same rep.

Good to know I'm getting them before the change!

They're 275/65/18's on 18 x 9 wheels.
I decided to move up to 18's from my stock sport 17's, lift kit to come soon.

Should look good once they're on! When I get a lift I'm either going 265/65/18 or 275/65/18, just worried that the 275's might take too many mpg's and power away from my v6. I'll be looking forward to seeing some pics/hearing how everything goes if you don't mind.

I still need to get UCA's and end links then I'll be ready to complete the lift.
But I gotta get new tires for my wife's ride this week so I'm probably 2-3 weeks out to lift by the time I get her tires and the rest of my parts in. The wait is killing me!

I know the feeling. Firestone was late to get the at3's in and they're supposed to be in tomorrow, but we'll see. I'm dying to get them on haha.

Called up America's tire they said no problem getting cooper at3s. They can have them waiting for me in 2 business days. I'm not really sure if your rep told you that so you can push more out the door but I have seen absolutely 0 talk besides here about them changing the at3 or them being tough to get ahold of. Size 31/10.5/15 c rating

My cousin is a Cooper dealer (independent shop) and he told me that the AT3 is not being discontinued or changed in any way. The AT3 is a relatively recent replacement for the discontinued ATR, which itself was a great tire. The AT3 will be available as it is today for the foreseeable future.
