okay guys just need some opinion about tires...i currently using 265/70/17 ..was plaining on runing 255/70/17 or 245/70/17 and maybe just maybe 235/70/17...
NOTE...i dont do any off roading just need some good agressive looking tires..

What is the reasoning behind going with a smaller tire? I can understand you don't offroad, but why not stick to stock size at that point?

FWIW, the 235/70-17 is going to be almost 2" smaller in diameter on the truck. It's almost going to look like car tires on it, but looks aside, it's going to change your overall gearing and may cause you to loose fuel efficiency (although you'll gain performance). The narrower tread will also adversely affect your cornering ability as well.

thanks bruddah..so no on the 235 i think you so right bruddah...but i dont understand that gear stuff...i never change my gearing or anything like that...i would think runing thiner tires would save me gas..?? but i am new to this stuff so i dont know...what do u think about 245's

Well I wanna put some Body Lift maybe 2" or 1" plus I have 2.5" lift right now. Unless I Get my hands on a FJ spring may be 8 wrap. What do u think. ?
The 255 is just lighter and cheaper

With a 2.5" lift I would look at getting atleast a 265/70r17 but if you're looking for lighter weight and want a tire that will fill out the wheel wells with your lift then look at 255/80r17. That size is a little difficult to find though

A 255/70r16 would look funny. It will fit on stock suspension
