Tires

So, I can't really afford to lift my 4Runner but I will need new tires by winter. What is the biggest tire I can put on my 2000 Limited without affecting clearance and speedo issues? I do plan on doing some light off roading here and there, nothing crazy. Thanks

wheeling means 4wheeling, as in off roading, 4x4ing, muddin, crawlin, rock crawling, driving down trails ect... basically anything off main or secondary roads.


265 70(maybe75) 16. would be the biggest you could go without throwing off the speedo or rubbing.

you might rub a tiny bit at full flex and full lock -meaning a tire fully pushed up into a fender because of tire navigating over an obstacle ect and the tire being fully turned one direction or the other. typically when you do this you are going at a very very slow speed so it wont do anything to damage anything, and you probably wont even notice it.
