Depends I had a strike of bad luck with running passenger rated tires getting about 30,000 miles out of set.

Mileage will vary greatly depending on the tire. You can find tires that will last 60-70k or some that are lucky to make it to 30k.

what kind of mileage do you get on 65/75r16's?

Depends on tire, hardness, driving type and of course have proper alignment.
I got over 100K on a set of Kumho on a previous 3rd gen limited. That was highway miles in about 2 years time. I never even rotated them.
