I'll start off with the ride:
2000 Limited 4Runner 4x4
I'm fairly new to the forum here, and still don't know a lot about 4runners yet but I'm learning everyday I get on here. Haven't done any drastic changes yet but figured since I'm starting with little things I'd start my own build thread. Hope you guys will enjoy and hope some of you guys can answer some questions I might(will) have down the road lol.
Well here is day one she was officially mine!
My grandpa gave this to me out of pure love! He is the original owner and had the paper work from when he bought in 2000. I was pretty amazed by that!
My first upgrade/mod was the radio. I had always wanted a double din in my old truck but it wouldnt fit, but now since I have the room I pulled the trigger! I bought a JVC KW-NT30HD radio, with GPS, bluetooth, HD radio and I absolutely love it! Here is some pics and a video I did for YouTube,
Today, I finally decided to take off the front bug guard or whatever you want to call it. I definitely like the look with it off better but I didnt think it looked bad with it on.
That's all I've done to it for now, some things I plan to do in the next week or 2 is getting the front 2 windows tinted to match the back and getting some HIDs for the headlights and some new foglights I can put HIDs in too. After that I think I'm going to continue on with mostly audio related upgrades such as a DC power alternator, a kinetik 1400 under the hood and one in the back, and the big 3 upgrade too. Then Ill determine what audio gear I want to go with. Hope I didn't babble on too much and I'll update this every time I do something new lol, thanks for reading guys!
