At the office where I work one guy had an old CJ5 with 35" tires, 4:56 gears, a chev 350 and a THD400 in there. No problems then
Seriously, what happened is I was straddling the deep, water filled ruts left by the service trucks on the road, ended up sliding into one sideways, and the truck settled its axle on the rut high point. Add BGF "Rugged Trail" tires to the mix, and it equals a walk of shame

Glad you're out! I hate taking "The Walk Of Shame." Easier to do though when you got your truck stuck than when you wreck your bike and have to walk out with broken shoulder and ribs lol. It then becomes "The Crawl Of Shame." Anyway, glad you're out!
I think you got stuck because you have been spending too much time on the Truck forum and you have suffered a large IQ drop....

I had to do the walk of shame through a college town with a busted skate helmet, a tacoed rear wheel, and both front and rear tubes snakebit after doing a pretty cool huck off a loading dock and subsequently flubbing the landing with my mountain bike. That was the worst.
At least I had the recovery gear, and was like "hey, catch the other end of this here tow strap!" rather than standing there like an idiot.
And yeah, the truck forums... word.

Title of thread did not mislead.
This being said, had I been able to see better through the tall grass I would not have slid sideways into those ruts.
And that clay is pretty slick when it's wet...
