TomasAllan's Build Thread

3 weeks later have you noticed any change in your front end after mounting the bumper & winch? I noticed my factory springs settled about 1/2 - 3/4" and it basically felt like it gave up the soft part of the progressive spring. I had a pair of OME 885's installed this week and the ride is back to pre-bumper feel. I was just wondering about yours. Enjoy the trip.

Jelly. Have fun in Moab, I need to go back asap! If you're rolling through Saint Louis on your way back, hit me up, I'd love to see your rig in person! Safe travels!

Pictures of trip

Tomas- I think I speak for the group....more pictures.....you can't upload too many pictures. Hope y'all are enjoying yourselves in the Great American West.

Be sure to take Elephant Hill in Canyonlands-

Hey man, it did settle a little bit maybe 1/2" and obviously it rides slightly different, after all we added a bit of weight to the front :-))

Also I have coil overs so I might be cranking them up in the near future.

Thanks and I hope this helps.

I promise to do better next time and let you'll know ahead of time, I bet we could have had a bigger group out here.

In Denver!

Alright guys I need some help, I've searched but haven't come across anything useful.......

My USB port stopped charging my phone on my trip (thank god I had my power inverter handy).

The only thing that changed is that I got the new 6 Plus.... it was fine until half the trip then it wouldn't charge.... not even my iPhone 5.

Thoughts/Ideas?

We tried looking for a fuse while in Moab but nothing was very descriptive nor looked obvious.

Help!

Weird. I would think it was a fuse as well. I havent needed to charge my 6+ yet in the rig and I have usually used the higher voltage 12v plugin one for my phones since I don't like how the usb one sends it into "car mode" and makes me have to use the HU to select playlists. Hopefully someone knows! You could always get a lighter sub plug in the meantime. More convenient than the inverter.

Try something else that would be USB powered in the receptacle. If it won't power up go get it fixed at the dealer. I'm sure that would be a warranty thing. There is no way an iPhone should have been enough to blow it. I've had an iPod Shuffle plugged into mine since purchased in January.

Since the USB feeds music from an MP3 player to the Entune system I imagine it also draws its power from that. As another thought you might try playing music from your iPhone to the stereo through the USB instead of Bluetooth and see if that works.

I didn't realize this problem started after your new phone. We should have tried mine on the trip. Try an older iPhone and see what happens.
Here is a start for us to diagnose.
