I noticed today that there's something weird under the oil filler cap, as shown in the picture.
I then took the dipstick out, wiped it clean and then inserted again to check the level and it doesn't look very good as the level seems to be well above the MAX point. Tried a few times and the results are more or less the seem as shown in the second picture.
So does this mean that there's too much oil in the engine?

I noticed mine has about 1/4 as much white stuff as yours the other day. I suspect it may be due to the long filler neck the runner has causing it to cool down faster than the motor block resulting in this condensation combined with short trip driving.
I also think the dipstick is hard to see where the actual true oil level is because I put exactly 5.5 qt. in with filter change and my stick looks over full until I noticed I think it is picking up oil on the tube coming out making it look more full than true if this makes sense.
