Took the BugShield off

Does it look better w/out the BugShield?

Took it off a few days ago and it was a little foggy this morning so I figured I'd snap some pics. Let me know if I should leave it off, or put it back on...

damn!!! those pics are so sick! I didnt think I'd like it with it off, but now that i look at it i definetly like it better than with it on.
 
If I do put it back on, I'll be going with a Toyota bugshield, the weathertech one just won't stay on.

The HID's are an extreme color, unsure of the K, they are called QB (Dark Blue) I got them at www.gothidkit.com
 
I want to live where you live with the forest in the background. it looks so peaceful. I hate living on top of each other. What state is that?
 
Definitely leave it off.

Also take the vent visor things off the windows! I think it looks much better without them

Gotta disagree with the vent visors. The slim in channel ones look really good. Now if they were the ones that stick to the out side it would be a different story.

When you point that out, I may have to agree. Though I have a general distaste for visors, these are better looking than most.
 
DAMN that is such a nice truck you got there FO, great job man. Leave that piece of plastic off, looks so much better without it.

And put some off-roading miles on it.

I'm going to shoot for the California off-roading outing on March 29...very excited!!

I agree, the in channel visors are the ticket. I discovered them a few years ago and haven't bought a tape-on set since.

Looks aside, they're incredibly functional for me. Can leave the windows cracked a tad during the day here - in the summer especially - and the thing isn't a absolute suana when you get in it to go home.

And while I don't care for the look of bug/stone visors on the hood, I am about ready to try one. We had a few warm nights here last week and the bugs splattering the windhsield sounded like rain they were so thick. Do the T4R bugflectors really help much? I've used them on S10s and Chevy Blazers in the past and they didn't really seem to help a ton - and is the reason I havent' already put one on the Runner. What say ye, are they functional or ornamental?
 
Well hopefully those of you with the in-channel vent visors like them a lot. Because if you ever take them off, the window will rattle because the channel has been stretched out by the visors.
