Took the Plunge

Had an 2004 Rav4 that was run over by a Semi-totaled. So bought a Gen4 2005 V6 with 86k. I also have a 2012 Highlander and have to say the T4R is tighter with less body noise then the Highlander. Anyhow, wanted to make some upgrades to the T4R without going into the engine or too radical. After 6 weeks, now complete and extremely satisfied with the outcome. He is list:

1. Stage 2 AFE CAI
2. Replaced all engine fluids.
3. Change F/R differential and Transfer Case fluid.
4. Replaced original Plugs with Denso Iridium
5. New Engine Vent Valve
6. Michelin LTX-2's
7. Bilstien 5100 shocks
8. Replaced both F/R Sway bar end links.
9. Installed Polyurethane bushings.
10. Power Flow MAF
11. TRD Cat Back
12. Cleaned engine with Sea Foam.

I consistently get 20-21 MPG on the road up to 75MPH. Gets a little thirsty above 75MPH, but it does run very well at much higher speeds. Cat-Back System drones a touch at low RPM but is fine above 35MPH. Throttle is responsive and really jumps under WOT. The CAI and Cat-Back reminds me of my old Charger when I cranked that small block to High RPMs. (340Cu" Dyno at 401Horsepower-Premium was also 55cents a gallon). Truck runs great and I appreciate this forum.

Sorry I couldnt help myself. I just always wanted to use that one. But lets see some photos! You've done a lot of the same stuff I have on my wish list, shocks and performance wise. Did you get significant performance gains from seafoaming? Congrats on the new T4!
