historically i agree with you, but less quality nowadays especially the taco's and tundra's being made in Texas and stuff.

I wouldnt buy a Taco made in Mexico but I would buy one from Texas. Not because I only buy American but just because I think stuff in America/Japan is made by more skilled workers. My Taco was built in Fremont, California and is as good as anything that came from Japan.

Also, that 4.0 in the 2nd gen is rock solid along with the transmission. Tundra's are super reliable also. Only reason I didnt buy a 2nd gen Taco is because my 1st gen just will not quit. We'll probably be on the 4th or 5th gen taco before I need a new truck.

Four the most part I would agree with this list. I would place them in a different order but it's a pretty good list. Notice you did not see a cretin brand in there....... I won't say there name. Lol....
