Torque Converter Replacement

Has anyone done a converter job on a 3rd gen? Wondering an average length of time and fluid capacities. Any snags I could run into? Have compressed air, floorjacks, etc. I haven't really looked but I'm guessing driveshafts, drain the pan, trans lines, dipstick, bellhousing bolts, flexplate bolts, mount/crossmember and pull it off?

Someone on YT has a thread on dropping the transmission but I don't have a link to it.

I think it took them about 12hrs to drop, replace TC and rear main, and then install.

I think fellow member Jon in FL dropped his to switch out to a 5spd.

Not as bad as you think. You will need a small tranny jack to hold the tranny up and be able to slide it back. Where exactly are you located at?
