Touched up my exhaust tip

When I got it there was some surface rust and was a big eye sore.

I knew it'd be an easy fix.
So I covered the body, sanded it down and shot it with some high temp manifold paint (flat black)

The end result:

Looks good. I was anal about that stuff on my F150. I probably painted that frame 3 times.
Glad my runner has the underbody coating. no rust as of yet.

I know that's right. My wife is supportive to a point, but today she was like what are you doing??? I told her it was the first thing I saw when I looked under the truck before I bought it. Thankfully that's the only rust on the entire thing.

i have a chrome tip that i dont really care for. Think a good sanding and spray with the same stuff will work? the entire truck is blacked out so its all that's left.

Looks good, i just hacked mine off at the axle bend. Fixed my hacky looking exhaust.

I'm pretty sure it would... As long as its sanded well you shouldn't have a problem.
