Towing Adapter

Want to tow my brother in laws boat this weekend and need the stock number for a 7-4 pin adapter for our hitches. I have a 2006 SR5. I went to Walmart and bought Hoppy's part number 47345 but when I plug it in I get no lights on the LED which this adapter has to let you know it is working. Are our hitches wired up from the factory and set to go already?? Do not know much about wiring so just wanted to get adapter and go. Any help is appreciated. I have a bunch of local auto part stores but thought maybe someone could shoot me a stock number to save time. I did a search on this but no names or stock numbers were listed.

Did you actually plug the trailer into it and test the lights? I would try that before ordering another one. It might need to have the trailer plug connected for the LED to come on. The plug is wired from the factory so it should be fine. I bought the adapter at u-haul and it has worked without problems.
