Toyo A/T ll, needed advice

I'm getting them in a 285/70/17, my options are 10 ply or 4 ply. I do a fair amount of offroading while pulling an expo trailer, 4ply is cheaper and softer riding but not as strong off-road. 10 ply is more expensive, stiffer but stronger off-road. I need your guys opinions please, thanks

If those are the only options I would get the 10ply.

That's the way I'm leaning, I think 4 is two thin. I just want others input. Thanks

The 4ply will be a nicer ride, but you'll get use to the 10ply ride too. I've had nothing but 10ply on my 4runner and it seems just fine after you get use to it.

I run 8 ply now, so I'm pretty use to a stiff ride. I can't imagine it would be too much harsher that what I have now.

Old 10 plys make great trailer tire too. I use them on a car trailer.

Thank you for all of your input, I got the 10 ply. I can't even feel a difference from my old 8 ply and the new 10 ply.
