Anyone running the toyo open country AT2 in 255/80r17? Looks like a great tire in the rare size. 50lbs and 33.1", seems like a good option for a daily driver. Thought I ask before buying a set ina few days.

They must have just announced those sizes. Haven't seen the 255/80 in AT2 or RT! Cool!

I dont like mine toyo at 2 poor performance in rain n snow. I would need to be in 4wd constantly and i still wouldnt feel confident. And the tread design dont save gas. So i saw discounttire was having a big sale and ended up ordering duratracs i had them on my crv and felt confident in rain and snow. Just my .02

Good to know, thanks for your review. I looked at the tires in person today, and noticed the sipes are only 2-3mm deep. Seems like they'd do fine in the snow when new, but not for long. I'm going to pass and go with the 255/80r17 Cooper ST Maxx.

I have OME 884 springs on their sport struts up front for about 3" of lift, and then Toytec superflex springs on the rear with extended length OME shocks for about 2" of lift.
The 255/80r17 should fit fine, I ran that size on my 2nd gen Tacoma with stock suspension and it only rubbed the mud flaps when stuffed with the front wheels turned 45 degrees.
