Toyo M/T 275/70/18

I couldn't resist.. Bought a set of used Toyo M/T's on Craigslist yesterday for a smoking deal, getting them mounted and balanced tomorrow. Cross your fingers I dont have to do any body mount trimming. When I put my 265/65/18 Duratracs on, they rubbed a little in reverse but I removed the mud flaps and pushed the fender liners forward quite a bit. I'm thinking the 33's will fit fine

You might be fine driving on the road, but I can almost guarentee you'll need the body mount chop for offroading. The MT is a big tire.

I guess we'll see... You're probably right, I see you've done it and are running the same size in the Duratrac. It's mainly a street driver anyway. The only offroad I do is the beach. If I have to do it oh well, just hoping not to. Thanks for the input

You are definitely going to have body mount rubbing when you are backing up out of the driveway and turning the wheel. BMC it and you should be fine.

So I got them put on after work today and yes, as previously stated, I am rubbing the body mount a bit. Not too bad though. Stuffed the front tires with the wheel turned in a parking lot and rubbed a little more. These tires don't have a whole lot of tread either so new ones will be even worse. (I got them for $80 btw that's why I couldn't resist trying them out) I'll be doing the BMC this weekend. I do love the way they look though. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

When i went 275/70/18 bfg rigged trails, i didnt even know about the BMC. I trimmed fender and fender liner. Mine didnt rub there at all.

I also went to 285/65/18 bfg at ko and didnt need any more mods to get them on.

only when i just went to 295/65/18 duratracs did i need to do more modding to get them on. fender trimming and now the BM rubbing in reverse.

$80 awesome!!!!!

Planning on getting this sized tire. Which lift did you use? Did you need wheel spacers?
