Hey guys I am considering lifting my 2000 4 runner. I want to go 2 inch in the ft and 2.5 inch in the rear. I was going to put some ome heavy coil springs in the rear and a 2 inch steel leveling assy in front. The level block sits right on top of the strut top and bolts right on. I had a concern that if i lift it this much in the front will i be able to get the alignment back into spec. my buddy lifted his runner 1.5 inches all around and barely got his alignment back. Also any info on this type of lift would be much appreciated thanks.

may i ask how he did a 1.5 lift? im thinking the only way he got that was body lift or homemade spacers

Spacers are ok if you aren't going to wheel.

There are two kinds. One goes inside the coil assembly. These will limit the suspension travel and i have heard that they can make the vehicle ride harsh,

The other type mounts on top. This type will allow the wheels to droop further than originally designed. This extra droop can cause over extension of the CVs which will lead to breakage.

Replacement coils are the best, front and back.
