and my business finance professor brought up the one you posted in class today. He didnt really say anything about it, we just went online to find a stock price and he saw that, opened it and just told us about it, I should have asked him why he thought the stock still went down half a percent today.

Toyota has got their act together. It good to see a company that obviously works so hard to earn busineess with reliable cars succeed. You would think GM and Ford would figure it out, but they just keeping playing on patrism in America instead of making quality vehicles. I just don't understand that attitude.

Upper management doesn't give a damn about the companies, they are just lining their own pockets at the expense of shareholders, employees and customers. Unfortunately this same attitude is pervasive in this country now.
I guess they figure when the shit hits the fan and the company goes under, they'll be sipping their $1000/bottle scotch on the beach of their private island.

I find it ironic that Toyota is building more plants here in the USA and hiring more American workers, while GM is looking towards China for its next target for expansion.

for the first quarter anyways! Toyota has topped GM in sales worldwide for the first quater of 2007. (I posted this in Tai's earlier post but wanted to start it fresh) They can not be called No. 1 in the world until the end of the year...but I dont see Toyota slipping anytime soon.
