Toyota Tercel Inclinometer Swap

Well I picked this bad boy up front Singtoe fully incorporated into the dash trim. It looked pretty easy to rig up, just one bolt to mount it in, plus some bondo.

After swapping my clock and everything over to the new dash trim piece I began the swap. The wiring was a huge nightmare, I will admit, but I go it all figured out. The 4wd Indicator comes on right when I shift into 4wd! The video shows a brief overview of it, and you can see how flush it looks.

Good job on getting it working, but man that location is pure crap. You could have mounted it below your radio quite easily.

It's not as bad as it seems, you can see it really easily. Would it be easy to see under the radio, yea, but it would look like ****.

Also I am doing a double din radio in the future.

Looks pretty cool. I'd paint the dash trim in a flat or satin black, the gloss black makes it look like you covered it in armor all.

Haha, yea I know, it was scratched all to bits. I painted it flat black, then found a can of clear coat and said, why not? Well it was glossy as hell! I will see how I feel about it in a few days, if it is worth re-doing.

Nice Dous. I still have the guts of a toyota clino sitting around, I never finished my integration project. I don't have the front faceplate though, so it doesn't look very good. This re-motivates me to get it into my dash.

Haha, its not as bad as it seems. Everything is soldered together, with heat shrink tubing. But I used the wiring I had laying around which was freaking 12GA
