It's a 120 platform - nearly identical underneath aside from the beefed up suspension, tires, and extreme environment outfitting.

FWIW, the 80 series land cruiser was the first car to drive across Antarctica.

I have always been more impressed when a vehicle is modified for a specific task other than just looking good. Don't get me wrong, I like the cosmetic mods too but these guys modding one to crawl on glaciers and across the south pole? Just a different league in my opinion.
