Toyota WS fluid change and Scangauge

Decided to do a drain and fill on my 08 runner and my 08 Camry. Here's a sampling of the WS fluid at different stages. Pinkish red (lower left spot) is brand new from the bottle. Slight brown (bigger puddle upper right of photo) is from my 4R at 40,8** miles. Darkest spot (upper left spot in photo) is from the Camry at 80,000 miles.

ALSO- for anyone who says the Scangauge cannot read trans temp, I have a little proof to settle the debate. I used a jumper to put the truck in check mode, then swapped in the SG to see if the temps were right when the a/t temp light on the dash illuminated. Well here's my results. I never took it past 120 because I still had to crawl under the truck and top off the fluid.

How does the 4Runner shift now with the new fluid in? We have 82k on our 05 and I will probably be doing a drain and fill once the temps rise above freezing on a more consistent basis.

To be dead honest with you I haven't drove it yet. My better half took off in it to take a movie rental back and I asked he when she returned if it did anything funky. She said nope. But typically women only know to add gas and push the pedal on the right.

I doubt it made any noticeable difference,but I did it for peace of mind that at least a portion of it is new fluid. I have never seen transmission fluid the color it came out. It had almost no red to it. It looked like new motor oil or maple syrup as it was draining out. Didn't smell funny or anything. I'm debating doing a complete fluid swap at 50k and leaving it for at least 30k and checking it at 80k and possibly do a drain and fill at that point with a new filter. Haven't completely made up my mind yet lol.
