Yes, I'd be interested in hearing what you went with as well, and your impressions of the system.

Went with the Bilstein 6112/5160, been happy with it and has a good ride.

I'll probably go with 6112 in front next time. No problems with the Boss (Eibach) shocks after 13k miles, but I think I can skip on-vehicle adjustability next time.

The 5160's, can they handle a rear 2" lift coil?

Please keep in mind that I am still learning about vehicles in general and am willing to learn but I am not understand some things.

Quick specs: 07' T4R, SR5, 2WD. No body lift (not planning on doing one).

So I am nearing to purchase the Toytec Boss lift for my T4R. And as I am nearing to the purchase point I am finding that I am asking myself more and more questions. The questions that are sticking out most in my mind are

1. is this kit all inclusive? Meaning does it come with all parts needed for the lift? I would thinks so but I can't seem to find a definitive answer.

2. Are there any parts that you, the people of the forum, would suggest to buy to add in while building, like different control arms, drop down sway brackets...anything that you wish you would have done when you installed the lift.

3. And only partially related to the lift, I want to put 275/70R17 on my vehicle and based off this Sticky doing 3'' in the front & 2'' in the back will allow this. However it also states that at 3'' other issues may begin to arise. So is it worth install additional parts to get 275's to fit and not cause any additional stress on the vehicle.

I put a boss kit on my Tacoma and everything came with it I also put on the spc Uca. Everything went on easy and rides nice.

Your rig looks exactly like mine and we both have the V8. What setting did you go with on the 6112s and how much lift did you get- what is the hub to fender distance?

285 70r17's rub on a 2005 4runner with a toytec boss lift kit?

i'm about to get a toytec boss suspension lift kit for my 2005 4runner and was wondering how big to go with the tires. i hear 285 70 r17 will rub but wanted some insight.

Hey what’s up my names Chris. Im new to the forums and the off road scene, I have been in the street car scene for years however.

I’m picking up an ‘06 V8 4x4 4Runner Wednesday, I’m super excited about it.

I have a couple Questions for people who own or have owned Toytec Boss Lifts.

1. How hard do/have you pushed this suspension off road and how often?

2. How did it perform in these conditions.

3. Can I run it at 3” without upper control arms for 2-3 months tops (street driving)

4. Is there any type off roading you would NOT do with this kit.
