Toytec BOSS owners.....

About to pull the trigger on this kit for the wife's SR5. Can those of you with this kit advise how the front coilovers are holding up after being on your rigs awhile?

Wife's ride is mainly kid haulers , grocery getter, but does get some mild off-road use for family wheeling trips. We've had a Toytec spacer kit up front and out back for last couple years but the ride is kinda getting on my nerves. Thanks for any feedback.

I broke the passenger side spring. They did have ~ 45k on them. I was an early adopter with the 2.0's.

Running Icon 2.5 now and prefer them over BOSS. Plus they won't corrode in the first 3 months.

I've always been confused with Icons stage designation. The stage 2 states 2" front and 3" rear. What stage do you have?

I didn't buy a stage as I already had UCAs and the rear done. Just swapped out the Boss coilovers for Icon. I bought the Ext travel 2.5 coilovers from metal tech

Sub'd as I am getting ready to do the same thing.

Toytec spacer lift going to ------> BOSS kit with 650# spring to accommodate a bumper and winch. Probably going to get the TC UCAs and the remote reservoir rear shocks.

Hope this rusted / broken spring thing is a fluke. I plan on using the shit out of the suspension.

I don't wheel as hard as some of the guys on here but I wouldn't say that it was mild.

It's all pretty relative though. If you daily an Ultra4 buggy you'd think it was mall crawling.
