ToyTec Superflex Rear Coils

Just got mine installed today.
They ride a lot nicer than my 9 year old Downey HDs. Very smooth with the Bilstein 5150 shocks.

From ground to fender (limited Style) is 39.5" on the passenger side and 40" on the drivers side.

I have a very noobish question to ask, did you guys extend your rear brake lines when you installed the new springs?

I did not for my original lift on my 2002 Runner which was 3.5" Downey coils in the rear.

I got a set of Wheeler's braided lines just to have a more solid pedal with my 231mm Tundra caliper mod which has extended rear lines.

Installed mine yesterday changing out from OME 890s and the NitroCharger OME shocks. I've really been bothered by my ride recently b/c I scalloped my winter tire by running low pressure on them during the summer. Idiot I know, but it allowed my to tell the difference after installing the SuperFlex coils and Bilsteins. The difference is incredible for bumpy pavement, I could barely feel the scalloped tires compared to the old setup. Since I've got a baby on the way my wife loved the difference in comfort which she had been "concerned" about in the past. The rear is slightly higher but I always felt the 890s sat too low. I still have the OME setup in the front with the Toytec spacer. I think this is the kit to buy. The 890/NitroCharger setup is just too rough. I've honestly been thinking about selling the truck because it was so bad.
I love it now all over again!

So your running OME 881's in front with a top spacer?

That is correct, OME 881 with Toytec front spacer. Rear with SuperFlex and Billstien 5100.

Additional note, I'm considering adding some longer bump stops, possibly Sonoran Steel after driving a bit. I drive on a pothole filled gravel road to work daily and the rear end is bottoming out bad. I suppose that the little bit of extra lift has pushed them beyond their limit compared with the previous setup. Also, I should put in the extended SS brake line as well since it's about maxed out when on a two post lift for maintenance.

Is anybody with 265/75/16 tires, and stock bumpers running these springs yet? I am curious if they just leave too much room in the wheel well. I'd like a little more lift than my 906's, but don't want to step up to 285 tires (too lazy to address rubbing issues). If these would just look silly with the smaller tire, then I will probably just snag some of the 890's yall will be selling soon.

I'm running 265/75-16s with an even taller coil, the 861.

Any particular reason why you're sticking with the 265s? I have 265s now and I'm thinking of going with 285s soon

A couple of reasons.
*Lack of power, the high altitude sucks the life out of NA engines. If I SC, maybe.
*Pride. I like the fact that I'm wheeling hard trails and doing the same, or harder, lines that my wheeling friends are doing on 285s or 305s.

I definitely feel you on the lack of power. That would be the only reason I'd stick with 265s

mcaz5 take that question of my mouth. I had always wondered why Gerdo stick with 265.

I like the idea of SC and no regear but, regear is cheaper I think.

You would think different if you were at 6000' and drive regularly to over 12,000'.

That is a power loss of 3% per 1000'.
Sealevel HP is 190
6000' HP is ~158
12,000 HP is ~130

It's actually only 183 hp. haha

I'm sitting at a nice 650 feet above sea level right now haha

Anybody running these with icons in the rear?
I am running icon2.5 rear with 891 and aftermarket bumper with 33" spare.
