So I ended up getting the 890's after contacting Toytec and not being able to get a clear answer from them. I also snagged the 890's on Ebay for super cheap, you can find them there and occasionally ebay runs 15 dollars off 75+ so I decided it would better to try them and see for myself.
In terms of ride quality they are great, not too stiff as some people have reported; But for my needs I do find them a little short.
I am running Toytec Eibach coils up front on Tundra 5100's on the lowest setting (per toytec's recommendation) up front I have an ARB bumper and I would say I have maybe 2.5in of lift (not scientific)
The 890's sit just about level with the front and I believe I netted 2.5in all the way around. I am running 285/75/16 KO2's and I need a little more lift for proper clearance then I currently have.
I like having some rake on the 3rd Gen, so I wish I had gone with the SuperFlex, according to Toytec the 890 and the 3" superflex are exactly the same

My gut is telling me as well that the Toytec 3" coils net more lift than 890s. If you end up wanting to get rid of those 890s PM me plz.

Are the 890s that you bought new or used? If used, then maybe they have already settled.

Good question, they were brand new. Its been 6+ months since I installed them. In that picture my tires are super aired up, which might effect how the stance looks (I took it to the dealer for an oil change and they decided to air up my E rated tires to a "safe" level without telling me).

Mine sat at 20.25" center of hub to bottom of flare with 220k miles. Based off that, 3" should be at 23.25".fftopic: sorry, but what is stock ride height on a 97 4runner. And what should it read if set at 3"? (without fenders)
What do you like to run them at? And what did they air them up to?

Anyone experience sagging with these Coils ? I've had them for about 2-3 years. Toytec says they are rated for 400lbs which would I've you 3". I know for a fact I don't have 400lbs in the back. Maybe, 250-300lbs. I have a savage rear bumper, with a tire. That bumper isn't that heavy. And to me, it feels like it's sagging now. I had the truck sitting without shocks for a month. Wondering if that caused them to sag ?
Also, when we did my wheel alignment. We were able to see ride height. Now, the rear panel is lower then the front fender. So the ride height measurements will be different. We made my icons at 23 point something. And the rear was 23 point something. I remember it being little higher though. But in my eyes it looks saggy.

It's a progressive spring so they make it to give you 3in lift but flex like you have 3.75 inches of lift. Mine sits perfectly level so if I'm in a slight slope (on my driveway)yeah it looks saggy but if I reverse onto the same slope then it looks slightly rear high.
I'm thinking of putting in some OME trim packers one on each side (unless I find something a bit thinner) just to give me that little bit extra cause I like how they ride and flex off road but I also like the look of my truck being slightly ass high.
But it says on Toytec website. 3.75" lift without weight. And 3" of lift with 400lbs.
Another question, what other Coils would be good with long travel rear shock. Like a Bilstein 5100 aka FJ/4th gen 4Runner

I'm thinking 3.75" is more of an approximation since each 4runner will vary a bit. I'm at 3.5" out back stock unloaded and 3.25" with my usual gear. Never actually weighed everything I carry but guessing around 100-150lbs
For other 3"+ rear coil options, ome 861 & LC tundras come to mind. 10mm trim packer could be a cheaper alternative.
Honestly, i really love these coils. They ride good, they flex good. But i had nothing but a headache.
So, toytec says that these coils are side specific. Driver side is taller to compensate for driver side lean, ok! For some reason when i installed these i had a massive driver side lean ( all stock stuck ) had to buy a OME 10mm trim. Thats annoying! False advertisement. And now it looks like its sagging like a B. Makes me want to call them and complain. Im thinking of installing a spacer, or get new coils, same ones. My icon 2.5 are custom built to these coils.

Did you ever try dealing coils side to side
I've installed these coils on at least 20 different rigs and they all came out perfect. No noise, sag nothing. I've always recommended these coils it's weird to hear so many people having complaints.
Call toytec and complain cause why not, worst they can say is pack sand or they can send you out a new set.
Talk to the toytec guys are cool I've talked to them a lot over the years they are more than happy to help you out with any questions you may have.

I've had mine in since 2013, and the vehicle stays loaded for a camping for a week at all times. I checked my notes, and for some reason I didn't measure the ride height right after the installation. Right now, with the savage bumper, spare tire underneath, and a ton of gear including a full cooler in the back it's sitting at 22.75" from the hub center to the wheel well. since I set the front at 22.5" when loaded, that is about level.
My icon front springs sagged a ton after the install, and have have been readjusted a few times.
BTW, the Savage bumper is about the same weight as the OEM hitch and bumper combined.
It makes a HUGE difference where you put that weight. 400# in the cargo area probably causes less sag than a tire carrier and tire on the bumper.

Does anyone have any info on towing with the superflex? I have 891 right now and sitting on 35's. When I bought my travel trailer I had to pull off the rear mud guards cause they would rub with the weight of my 22 ft travel trailer. I have Bilstein's on there now. I bought air bags to add but have been looking at the superflexs. Just have a stock rear bumper
I tow an utility trailer but its no where near the weight or length of a 22 ft travel trailer al though I have loaded my trailer with a yard of gravel and it sagged but not that much that I recall to be worried about.
I have superflex coils and king 2.5 shocks and 33" tires

First time posting so sorry in advance if I screw this up, But I just installed the Toytec Superflex rear coils this weekend and I'm really happy with them so far. Still need to test them out offroad and see how they age with time. I'm running an addicted offroad rear tube bumper, a flip down tire carrier, full size 33" spare, and have a sub in the back and I believe they give right between 3.25" and 3.5" of lift in the rear. Install was a breeze and I paired them with the boss extended shocks available through Toytec.

Hey all now that these are discontinued what are the recommendations ?
I had them for approx 60,000 kms and just found they are both broken in the same spot both sides. Having a hard time finding something similar
OME 890 way too soft and little lift
I think OME891 will be too small of a lift too
. I think dobinsons 210v will be too tall. IS there any other brand I am missing
