Everything is still put together. Actually my front struts still have Daystar spacers and stud extensions on them. Which could help if you need to clear larger tires and still ride like factory. If not they're easy to remove.

If you are running larger tires with the lift you probably lost 2mpg compared to stock. For what it is going to cost you for labor and to pick up smaller tires to gain 1.5-2mpg is it really going to be cost effective? How many miles out is you break even?

I met up with The OP, he's running 285/65/18's with bilstien 5100's toytech superflex coils and toytech coilovers up front.

It's a 2wd 2004 V6 with just over 100,000 on the odometer. From the looks of fluids, end links, etc. the vehicle could just use a good tune up.

The OP isn't interested in offroading and has no purpose to do so with the 2wd. He makes alot of trips towards Alabama up to ohio and then the charlotte area. He mainly is just interested in getting the most efficiency and life out of the truck.

He's going to downsize tires to a stock ratio with the 18's as he has a cool set of dick cepek rims. I advised him to have his tranny fluid freshen'd up and we're going to replace his sway bar end links and bushings. I believe the shocks and coil overs he has on there will ride better than any factory setup so we plan to just drop the front coil-overs to there lowest setting, leave the bilstien's in the back and just through in factory rear coils.

The front coils are cranked to the max right now without using adjustable UCA's to get the proper alignment back which is causing for a very uncomfortable drive. He purchased the vehicle setup as it is and appreciated the look; however, is just interested in getting the best ride out of it he can.

the reviews don't seem to handle the 60,000 mile claim; however, i dont have any personal experience with them. Michelin LTX A/T 2 is the tire I was recommending to you last night. They are a little more on the expensive side though. Best thing would be to read some reviews and perhaps ask fellow members if they have any recommendations.

That sounds like a great plan. The ride will be much improved once these are adjusted down. The mpg's will come back once you get stock size tires. The lift itself shouldn't cause a drop in mpg's but your up sized tires will.
