Spoke with both ARB and Toytec. I am now confident this system works with the 4runner. It gets delivered tomorrow.

Perfect! Glad it will work for both! The lady I talked to at ARB must have missed her coffee in the morning or something. Can't wait to see how it turns out! :reddance:

Idk , but it seems that ARB staff either are confused or trying to protect themselves from potential legal problems. I called them in late November or early December ,n was told that it wasn't released for the 4Runner and may not be covered under warranty if it was used on another vehicle other than the FJ. Lol I guess I will just have to be patient and wait. Sure hope that we will be able to get them soon and for a good price! Hoping to hear reviews on ease of installation, adjustments and amount of lift as well as how well they handle.
Ps read this on the FJ forum that it was recommended to put some thread locker on the screws that hold the rock guards for the rear shocks.

Honest question, how big of a difference is it between the FJC and 4Runner?

There is no difference. All the FJ, 4th and 5th Gen suspensions are interchangeable.

This includes: Toyota OEM, ICON, OME, ToyTec, etc. Like mentioned above, ARB just wants to be sure.

I'm looking between the Toytec and OME for my '13 4R. Many of the posts I've been reading are quite dated, and this seems to be the most recent. For those who have the suspension systems, how have you liked the overall performance?
Goal for suspension is to improve ride quality on and off road, minimize/eliminate rake, and earn a ~2.5" lift. Other plans include throwing on an ARB bumper (no winch for now), and up my tires to 275s.

Any feedback is more than welcome.
